1st place- Zayden and Ryan – 81 inches- 11.67 lbs

2nd place- Tristan and Hunter- 76.25 inches- 10.52 lbs

3rd place- Nathan and Caleb- 67.25 inches- 10.52 lbs

Big Bass- Tristan-  18 inches- 3.26 lbs

38 bass caught and released  70.66 lbs total weight

All members rec’d a rod or reel, lures, tackle packs, fish poster, sweat bands, plastics and over 100 brats and dogs were eaten.

10 members made every event and rec’d Walmart gift cards of $25.

The Bassinators final tournament of the year.  The Tournament of Champions!

It Will be held Saturday October 2nd at Schroeder Park on Cedar Lake in Annandale. The kids will fish from 8am-1pm. We will have our Annual grill out from 1-2, Then some fun with tournament and year end awards from 2-3. Families, Boat captains and sponsors are all invited.

Sugar Lake Tournament Results:

1st: Ty S. and Grant H. – 10.07 lbs – 5 Fish

2nd: Jacob L. and Jake D. – 8.06 lbs – 5 Fish

3rd: Nate S. and Geno R. – 7.63 lbs – 5 Fish

Big Bass- Zayden I. – 17inches

We had 11 boats- 22 kids

39 Largemouth Bass were caught and released!

Little windy and cloudy in the morning.

Top 3 spots were caught deep on Ned Rigs and Drop Shots.

Our President and Founder Jeffrey Nelson was a volunteer boat captain for the Annandale, MN CAST for Kids event held Sunday August 29th. He took a young man with special needs out and caught some fish. Look at that smile! Great job Jeffrey!!

Thank you to all the Volunteer Boat Captains that make it possible to get the kids out on the water.  Thank you to the parents for bringing the kids to the lake and thank you to our sponsors for helping with the prizes!

Our next tournament is Sat. Aug 21st on Lake Minnetonka. We will be launching from the Maxwell bay Access. Jeff and Adam will be at the ramp at 6am to answer questions and help unload boats.

We have 13 teams signed up right now! 26 kids. Lake Minnetonka is 14,000 acres and has Largemouth and Smallmouth bass.

The Bassinators had 3 teams compete at the TBF JR. World Championship.

The fishing was tough for all teams. They fished hard and had fun.

Bassinators Team of Noah H. and Gavin K. took 2nd place at the Minnesota Bass Federation Jr. State Championship on Clearwater Lake in Annandale. They qualified to fish the TBF Jr World Championship on the Mississippi River pool 14 in Quad Cities, IL July 26-30. Wish them luck.
